2020 Season Information

Over 35s Football Ltd was set up in 2011 to provide competitions for Over 35s Men’s football (soccer) players in the inner and northern suburbs of Brisbane.  Our motto is “Local Football with Mates”.

We started with 16 teams in 2 Divisions and have expanded to approx. 80 teams in eight Divisions.  This includes Over 35s and 45s Men’s Divisions, and an Over 30s Women’s Division.

These teams play from Football Clubs such Albany Creek FC, Bardon Latrobe FC, Brighton Bulldogs FC, Brisbane City FC, Deception Bay FC, Grange Thistle FC, Mitchelton FC, New Farm United FC, Newmarket FC, North Brisbane FC, North Lakes FC, North Pine FC, North Star FC, Northside Christian FC, Peninsula Power FC, Pine Hills FC, Pine Rivers Athletic FC, Redcliffe PCYC, Ridge Hills United FC, Samford Rangers FC, The Lakes FC, Toowong FC, Uni of Qld FC, Virginia United FC, West End FC, Westside Grovely FC and Yeronga Eagles FC.

As we have grown and developed we have kept with our key principles of affordability, participation and giving back; (only increasing fees when we added insurance benefits) while at the same time, connected with and assisted various football entities such as the Brisbane Paralympic Football Program and the Queensland Powerchair Football Association.

In recent times we have expanded our business to include the management and development of other Social and Community Football Leagues and Programs.  These operate under the banner of Community Football Australia and incorporate Queensland Independent Football, the South East Queensland Football League, and Toowoomba Community Football.

Running these competitions allows us to support additional social and community programs such as Welcoming Tournaments, the Multicultural Football League in Logan, Kicking Goals Together at Australia Catholic University and Africa United.

Supporting these programs helps develop new football teams, leaders and players, and build a bridge to established facilities and Clubs.  In some cases, we are working with communities to create new Clubs and programs and re-ignite facility use.  Feel free to visit Community Football Australia for further information.
